my name is 'Michael Black'

Michael Black seemed like a kind and reasonable man, when Agni met him all those years ago. He listened to Agni, he understood him, or tried to. He cared. He even admitted to having strong feelings for Agni. And in response, Agni enjoyed the attention and the comfort of being with this strong, unusual human.

Then one day everything seemed to change. Michael's face became dark. His eyes narrowed, cruel. Agni didn't understand why his friend, his lover, began speaking in such a hateful tone. Suddenly Michael's beautiful face began to rip, diagonally from the bottom of his jaw, up to his deep blue eye. He reached out to Agni with a peeling hand. Agni saw a claw beneath the skin. Michael's flesh began to bubble, tear. Agni watched in horror as the beautiful man fell apart in front of him, until what remained was no long human at all. A beast suddenly stood before Agni. It's large, disfigured body towered menacingly over him.
"My secret is revealed. You can call me Aren now."


He's like a melting elephant slug thing.
He likes to curse people.
He made the castle Arenheim, a living castle, out of his own flesh.
And he wears the skin of a human. Even though he destroys the skin every time he removes it, uh, it's still intact. So he always looks the same. Something about magic and curses and whatnot.
His full true name is Aren Tae which means "holder of twilight" in this language I was working on many years ago. Yeah...

I think that's enough on him for now. My new doll makes me giddy, which sucks since I've been fighting off a bad case of nausea all day.
