little magical Ate

This is old...obviously, since Ate isn't home right now. XD But I mostly wanted to give a little information on her character, since there's a lot to it and I haven't really gone into it much.
And I've wanted to post it for a while...I totally raped this photo with Photoshop. Teehee.

SO! Some things about Ate. Her story is reeaaally confusing... so I'm not going into great detail. Someday her story will be written down properly and it'll make more sense then trying to explain it in a few paragraphs.

Ate has had three separate lives, though she looks, acts, and is basically the same person in each. She was created to hold the essence of a very ancient and powerful daemon named Hobess, who is Fate's messenger (kind of like Gabriel is to God). So Ate too, is a messenger, as well as a guide who leads people to their destiny, whatever that may be. She's kind of an alternate personality to Hobess, but it's also the other way around. Confused yet? There is a being that is Ate, with her own identity. But Hobess is wherever Ate is and in that way they're like the same being.
Since she's basically this ancient spirit, Ate isn't technically a child, despite her childlike features. She's very wise, quiet, and gentle. She’s a little spooky looking, yeah, but she's utterly incapable of causing harm to anything, nor does she have the desire to do so. Ate as Ate (not Hobess) doesn't even comprehend the concept of violence. She's also not a ghost in terms of being a dead human (even though she is called one sometimes), but she can disappear and reappear at will, and even when she is present, she's not always physical.
Ate likes little trinkets and treasures, but since she doesn't have pockets she puts whatever she finds in her hair. This is purely an Ate thing that Hobess has nothing to do with, and doesn’t even entirely understand.

There's a lot more to it, but eh, I'd have to go into the whole story and how the worlds work and junk. She's possibly my most complicated character. So in short, she looks like a ghost child, but it’s not really that simple. XD

I feel like I've been posting too much lately..... But I have a lot of stuff I want to post!! Dilemma.
