A study of Agni

I always try to post a picture of the character before I get the doll. I have other pictures of Agni in my gallery, but they suck and I should probably just delete them. I haven't drawn him in a while, even this is an older sketch that I dug up and reworked recently. He looked a lot more melancholy in the original sketch.
All my older characters have been overshadowed by the younger ones for a couple years. They've been there, just pushed to the back of my mind. I was surprised at how pleased Agni seemed to be as I brought him back to the surface. His son has been hogging the spotlight for a bit too long I think.

So there you have it. Agni, I suppose.
This is one of those drawings that I know I'll hate in time. But if you know the Crobidoll Lance sculpt you may be able to see why I chose it for him. I can see it.
